Online Python Compiler — run Python 3 in your browser

Write Python code, press Run, and see the output instantly. Tegdar's freeonline Python compiler runs the official CPython 3.13 interpreter inside your browser, on desktop or mobile. No download, no installation, no account.

Open the Python compilerThe editor opens in English; switch to Arabic from its toolbar.

What you can do

  • Run Python 3 instantly in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, Android and iOS.
  • Use input(): the terminal waits for your answer, so interactive programs and quizzes work.
  • Work with real projects: several files, folders and tabs, with imports between your own modules.
  • Catch mistakes early: a Problems panel flags syntax errors before you run.
  • Analyse data and draw charts with numpy, pandas and matplotlib, which load automatically.
  • Share code as a link, or export a whole project as a ZIP file.
  • Keep working offline after the first visit; files are saved in your browser automatically.

Try this example

Paste this program into the compiler and press F5 or Ctrl+Enter:

name = input("What is your name? ")
scores = [92, 78, 85]
average = sum(scores) / len(scores)
print(f"Hi {name}, your average is {average:.1f}")

Type your name when the terminal asks, and the program prints your average score.

How it works

Most online compilers send your code to a remote server, run it there, and send back the output. This one is different: it loads Pyodide, a build of CPython compiled to WebAssembly, and runs your program in a background worker inside your own browser tab. That means no queue, no server limits, and your code stays private on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is this online Python compiler free?

Yes. It is completely free, with no ads, no account and no usage limits.

Does my code run on a server?

No. The official CPython interpreter runs inside your browser through WebAssembly (Pyodide), so your code never leaves your device.

Can I use input() in the online compiler?

Yes. When your program calls input(), the terminal waits for you to type an answer and press Enter, just like Python on your computer.

Which Python libraries are available?

The Python standard library, plus numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scipy, sympy and scikit-learn, which load automatically when you import them. Pure-Python packages from PyPI can be installed from the Packages panel. Desktop GUI libraries such as tkinter, turtle and pygame are not supported.

Does it work on mobile phones?

Yes. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Android, iPhone and iPad, with the code above the output and a quick-key bar for Python symbols.

Does it work offline?

Yes, after the first visit. The browser keeps the Python runtime (about 10 MB) in its cache, so the compiler opens and runs code without a connection.

Is there a debugger?

Not yet. The editor checks syntax as you type and shows errors with line numbers. For step-by-step debugging, a desktop IDE such as Thonny or PyCharm is the better choice today.
